INSURANCE
Traveling is an adventure, and sometimes the unexpected can happen. That's why we require our travelers to obtain certain types of travel insurance while traveling with Sisters and Suitcases. We want you to have peace of mind, and to have a safe and affordable experience abroad with us. If you’d like, we are happy to discuss these requirements with you.
SISTERS AND SUITCASES REQUIREMENTS:
All travelers are responsible for understanding the details of their travel insurance policy and for confirming that their insurance provides coverage for all activities (included and optional) identified in the trip itinerary and that there are no exclusion clauses that would limit your coverage. By accepting our Booking Terms & Conditions at checkout, you have already agreed that you alone are responsible for verifying the limits and terms of your insurance policies and whether they meet Sisters and Suitcases requirements.
WHEN TO BUY
The moment you book your trip. Many insurers will only insure your trip within a certain window after your final payment is made, so we highly suggest doing it when you pay your deposit. At a minimum, you must provide us with proof of insurance and adequate coverage no later than 45 days before your trip's departure date.

SISTERS AND SUITCASES REQUIREMENTS:
- Your travel insurance plan must cover personal injury, accidental death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, and evacuation expenses
- We strongly recommend selecting a plan that covers you in the event you contract COVID-19 abroad and need to quarantine. While the Sisters and Suitcases team will help you make these arrangements, Sisters and Suitcases will not cover theses costs.
- We strongly recommended additional coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, and for personal property.
- We do not accept travel insurance provided by your credit card, as it typically does not cover all of the above.
- Every Sisters and Suitcases guest will need to provide evidence of travel insurance to us before traveling. Without proof, you will not be permitted to join the group.
