What is your deposit, cancellation and refund policy for group trips?
A deposit is needed to confirm the booking on your group trip, this is non-refundable. Full payment for the trip (the remaining balance) is due 45 days before departure. We are a small (very small) business, and in order to provide you the quality of experiences and travel that are the reason we started this company, we have to be strict with this policy. If you cancel your trip we will be very sad, but understand that these things happen. We will not be able to return your deposit. We will not be able to return the final payment if you cancel within 45 days of the trip. This is why we recommend taking out an all inclusive travel insurance so you are protected in case of anything. By purchasing this package, you acknowledge and agree to our No Refund policy.

No, the cost of your international flight to and from the destination is not included in the price of the trip. You are responsible for purchasing your flight separately.
You should not book your flight until you have received a confirmation email stating you can now book your flight.

why is travel and medical insurance required
All persons traveling with Sisters and Suitcases are required to purchase travel insurance to cover unexpected events such as loss of income, medical emergencies for you or someone close to you before and during the trip, a death in the family, natural disasters, and other unforeseen events. We strictly abide by the Transfer, Cancellation, and Refund Policy contained herein regardless of personal circumstances or circumstances beyond your control that prevent or delay your participation. Travel insurance may be purchased from a national insurer. Type “travel insurance” into a search engine. Insurers usually require the purchase of coverage to occur near the date of booking. Some airlines offer travel insurance – please be aware that such insurance rarely covers more than just the airfare; you might still lose your investment in the Sisters and Suitcases Experience package if you take that route. Seriously consider purchasing from a direct travel insurance carrier, which usually covers the entire investment.
